There's a restaurant way up in the mountains on a lonely stretch of road. They had one of those old police cars sitting out front, and every single time it would startle me, and I'd hit the brakes. Cool Render.

I used to have a similar reaction to a little town in North Dakota when I was traveling home for a visit. They had an old squad car sitting by the side of the street with a dummy dressed up as a highway patrol. Freaked me out many a time before my little teeny tiny pea brain finally registered what it was. LOL! I'm sure there were many brake checks taken by other too! Having to slow down from highway speeds of 65 to 70 then almost immediately down to 25 is just too extreme a change. I never saw this particular patrolman giving out a ticket though either. Again, lol. Thanks much for the comment and shared memory! Always a pleasure to hear from you!

Thanks so much for the comment, Magik! Greatly appreciated!

I'm really impressed at how well you blended the character from DAZ Studio into a rendering by Poser. His shadow works well although (like a vampire) he fails to reflect on the floor as the car does! =( I enjoyed viewing the image! =)

Thanks so much for the comment, Molly! I really always appreciate your take on my images! Yeah, that is a big limiting factor putting layers together in a photo editing program. I had been using Photoshop CS5 but lost the activation key for it and can't keep it going anymore. I do have Affinity though. Perhaps this is just a way of telling me I need to start learning how to use it! After StevieUKWonder kept after me to switch to DAZ3d studio, I finally broke down and installed it. I don't like it that much but I do like the newer DAZ guys. They look better than M4. That that is to be expected. I don't know if I ever will get fully integrated into DAZ studio. I don't like how slow the renders are and I'm so used to Poser, it is hard for me to adjust. So I will just likely only use it to render my 'hot' guys from time to time and paste them into my Poser renders. I'm a victim of my own inadequate abilities having always taken the easy way out all my life. What can I say? Only myself to blame.

Superb character, car and lightning atmo, great work !

Fabulous scene and background. Very cool old police car. Better than the digital speed check and slow down sign, I am sure.
Leon Kennedy is a fictional character in the resident evil series, in one movie and a few animated movies and games. He initially was a rookie cop starting out in a police station in Raccoon City. Leon's first day at the station all hell broke out before he even got there. He arrives late his first day on the job to be confronted by a zombie outbreak. I have the movies and I played the games 2 through 8.

Very interesting information! Thanks so much! I'll have to google it even more now!

Well Bill, a THOUSAND pats on the back for your courage in starting to use Daz. All my postings were just to let you see how much more satisfying it is just with the results you can achieve in the Daz vehicle. Most importantly, you can reduce the time of renders in your lighting based in the content library. There are GRADES of render quality somewhere in there but if you haven't got the same light as me I can recommend one to you to adjust the render time for you. Cracking first effort Bill and your guy looks totally plausible although I only have the hots for Kelly Le Brock! Bahahaha!
Radar_rad-dude
Is Kelly a male? LOL! Just kidding my friend! I had to get one in on you there! Thanks for the comment! Much appreciated!

Xcellent !!!!

Wow Bill, I like the look of this one! I see you did it in conjunction with DAZ 3d studio and Poser. This render has a great supernatural vibe going for it...the added lighting in the background adds a nice atmospheric touch. Congrats on another excellent render! :-)
Radar_rad-dude
Many thanks for your kind word, JohnnyM! I greatly appreciate your support and consideration for my continued efforts here! I can't thank you enough
RodS
I can just read his thoughts.... "Is this for real??" It's a really excellent composite of the two 3D apps. You did a fantastic job on this!
I really need to get my a$$ in gear, and get my DAZ machine going again. It's been too long. I enjoyed using both apps to bring my ideas to life.
Radar_rad-dude
Many thanks for viewing and commenting on this image, Rod! I greatly appreciate hearing from you! Yes, after saying for years that I wasn't ever going near DAZ studio, I finally bit the bullet and plunged in about a month ago. I can't say that I like it. Takes forever compared to Poser for anything to render. But I like the quality of the characters that I can pull out of better than the M4 guys I've been working with for quite awhile. Time will tell how I adapt to DS but for now, I rather pleased with it.

As soon as you touch that car, young fella, that lighting's gonna zap you. But maybe that's how his time travel is powered. Nice work on the image.
Radar_rad-dude
That is good speculation, MIO! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for viewing my images! Always a pleasure to get you support in all areas!

I love Leon Kennedy, not that I have ever played the game. It would be cool to see him in a 1950's police drama, or better still a film noir. Thanks for sharing.
Radar_rad-dude
I love this character as well having seen so many seductive variations of him in various places on the internet! I've never played the game either. Many thanks for viewing and commenting on this image! I greatly appreciate your support!
