If have had some serious discussions about how it is possible the moon looks so big when it is near the horizon. And I really love those movie moments when it is really there (E.T., Shrek). But this is the biggest one ever. And quite great too. I really appreciate how simple ingredients make a picture work. The light is great too. I even forgot which gallery this is in (I checked 'What's new'). Not photography. Maybe it is called 'atmospheres'. It should be.

Hoofdcommissaris, thanks for the comments :). I figure it's very easy for a moon to be that big, anytime you want. All you have to do is use the zoom on your camera ;). So, with that in mind, I've been ignoring nay-sayers on this image. I wasn't thinking of realism at the time anyway...I just try to set the right mood, whatever it takes.
