If anybody knows what this I would like to know since I walked up to it to take this picture. We didn`t hang out as long as we usually did that day. We had to walk past the length of it and go down and around to get an Idea of how big this was. The trees were holding it in it seems. I added the fresh leaves for size comparison and remembering it was early spring. The area was the size of a parking lot. The Egyptian looking faces made us think this might be some ancient god thing and we should go now. So we left. I have other darker pink red pictures where the whole hill looked like it was in the movie "The Thing". It was like 10 whales blew up on a slope, very gross I wont show them. Just watch the `80 version of "the thing" without the faces but what looked like bones and meat. This picture here is the pretty one for public consumption. Any answers from the forest service? If this is not one of the weirder things you have ever seen then you`ve seen more then me.
