Good concept :) Couple of suggestions for improvement - put a bump map on the floor for starters, maybe add a skirting board at the bottom of the walls...otherwise, nice idea!

just a small nitpick aside from what tooms said before. the lamp seems to be standing on air -as in the yellow top of it.

i like the stairs with the glas! The shadow from the lamp is ugly for the indoor architect! It is to bright and you should use a matt light too. The pipe at the stair ar decrease when you go upstair? They should have the same angle like the stairs. The chair looks like pool furniture :-) But it is a nice composition. With a little tuning it will be great
