Description
At the end of the 18th century, European artists discovered the sujet of the Ottoman harem/bath and the Odalisques (= light-skinned chambermaids) for themselves.
From now on, nice-looking ladies - mostly scantily clad and often with rubenesque body shapes - lolled in more or less erotic / lascivious poses on cushions, sofas or chaise longues.
My upcoming project ("ZENsual 3") is dedicated to the ladies who modeled for artists like Ingres, Boucher or Delacroix ... and of course the artists too.
Thanks again to AshenPortfolio for Model "Lilly", which fits perfectly with the "Odalisques" theme.
