Wow! Teeth as long as a finger. And plenty of them! It probably tore morsels from its prey's dead flesh and, like an alligator, didn't worry about swallowing the bones.

Teeth like that suggest that its prey suffered an agonizing death. The beast probably bit and crushed the throat, cutting off oxygen and blood to the brain. An expert would know better than I.

Yeah, it would be a nasty death, especially since there's evidence that predators went after the flank and back, rather than the neck, since enough of the planteaters had neck protection of some sort.
