I love the Way You tell Stories by their Details! I though of River-Erosion first, but the Cuts of the roots are to smooth, so it is an Excavation with subsequent cutting off the Roots! (Soory, I was derailed for a while by a sudden and useless Death of an Colleague, I am on board again.)
