I think he is just suffering from excessive light exposure. Just find him and nicer, quieter lower light volume environment so that he can relax and perhaps catch a few zzz's! Otherwise, he might start making mistakes! A nice pose and expression for your main character! Very good idea. Just needs only a very little bit of tweaking for it to pass more effortlessly through my inspection point. Happy New Year!
