Description
Waratah (Telopea speciosissima) The stunning red Waratah is the floral emblem of New South Wales Australia. Each flower head can measure up to 15cm in diameter.
The plant grows as a small tree up to a height of around 4 metres. The leaves are dark green and leathery and have serrated edges. (I used the Waratah as the inspiration for the design, Waratah is a Sovereign word and nobody realises they are using it every time they say it) (digital using my program from the society for the blind)
