Yeah, it sucks having a high ESPer rating and dealing with all that telepathy all the time. People looking at you funny and you can feel their animosity - or maybe the equally annoying extreme opposite being pushed onto you all the time. Not to mention the temptation to just cheat your way through life manipulating people because you know how to get at them, or even the more mundane annoyances of undisciplined minds just broadcasting their thoughts out into the whole wide universe. Gods! It's worse than cell phones used to be way back when!
And, well.....let's be frank here: Those Greys, y'know? The stuff they used to do to poor hapless 20th and 21st century human abductees sometimes, absolutely disgusting stuff, some of it. Stuff that nobody wants thought at them in any kind of polite social setting, or even just blurted out widely in the Akashic record for everyone to pick up on.
The only peace you could come to know is to just live on a planet with your own kind, where nobody has a particular advantage or disadvantage to your power level and nobody able to shout over the others like they have a built-in amplifier. There'd really be no special use for your kind of ability, but hey, at least it has the comforts of home.
And then there are the more primitive planets ruled by fear, where they "shall not suffer a witch to live".
But I do like the render though. Dig the costumes.
