Description

Taken during the Christmas light display in Pukekura park, New Zealand. My fist contribution to renderosity.com and my first attempt at doing anything artistic-like with a camera.

I should also add that this photo has hardly been edited, only cropped and resized, and darkened a bit to make it more like the real print.

I really love this. The colours are great, it's almost hard to believe that this hasn't been edited in any way because of those gorgeous lights :)

great work. most of photography is being at the right place at the right time and always having your camera close and hand.

Thank you for your comments. I can hardly say I am a pro though...I'm about as far from being a pro as you can get. I didn't know the camera I was using very well so my boyfriend adjusted the settings for me..and he pretty much had the idea for the photo as well. I'm just happy some of mine turned out as well as his ones.

Good one, sweet Maria.....having the lens open for a longer period really captures the colour much better usually. Great shot...
