Description
Dirs-8 stared out the side glass and into the mist. During the phase of traveling dimensional space, the robot had spent the hours playing games in the system, but not that it was back in normal space, and having to pilot hands on, there was no reason to not conduct a little research.
It shifted its attention to the partially functioning panels and instruments. The main sensor display was nothing more than a jumble of static with an occasional flash of data. Within the flickering, a small pair of blips registered at random times.
"Uh-oh." It had already conducted the required data download on life forms known to be in these regions of space. "What type of company does one receive in regions of space like this?"
