I'm just Molly. Mrs. Mike was my ID for many years when I modeled for my deviant husband, Mike B. It was Mike that introduced me to Poser.
I have modeled in real life a bit. My introduction to 3d imaging was through making pictures of my adventures in Second Life and over the10 years I've been learning Poser and making Poser pictures. In real life, I am a near completely retired health care professional and a full time grandma. In my digital life I am a Second Life heroine, a Second Life villainess and here and at Deviant Art I'm a budding 3D artist.
My next big project is to learn Blender.

That's a compliment that means much to me as it comes from another teller and illustrator of stories. <3

This is seriously beyond words, Molly! But I'll eke out a few... LOL
I absolutely love this SP ship! Just look at all the wonderful detail - and the lighting is superb! This is epic, Molly! Wow!

Most of the praise should go to Stuart at Blue Tree Studios; his content is wonderful with very little tweaking of materials. I'm glad you think the lighting works, Rod. My understanding of lighting in Superfly is a WIP... well... really everything I do is. XD Thanks so much for the encouragement, in means the world to me! <3

Well, its a great new adventure one dear Molly, looks a bit like the Nautilus, just not in the water, but in the wide of the Universe, I bet they gonna have a lot of obstacles to survive on their mission!!!! 👍😊

Thank you for the encouragement, Ute. <3 You clearly understand the kind of steampunk stories I enjoy and I see a lot of possibilities for stories with these characters and fine content like the space ship. =)

Very nice composition and POV - lets the characters shine without one dominating the other. First thing i did was blow it up on fullscreen to see who was driving the thing and there he was - a bot pilot. Didn't think that one would get by ya :)
One thing I wondered when playing with the ship is if they have some sort of shield to protect so much glass. Venus is inside the asteroid belt, but one litltle zinger...also wondered about the grill below the greenhouse camopy. Could be some sort of steampunky energy intake? Coolant intake for the engine? If the later, it would only work on temperatiure as there would be no rush of air...
Steampunk's glory is trying to figure out how the stuff is supposed to work and then saying "Fudge it. It's steampunk" :)
MollyFootman
Indeed... "Fudge it! It's Steampunk!" XD
My major problem with a vessel like this one is there's no place to store fuel... or store anything, really. >.< But I figure... well.... "Fudge it!, etc!" ;-) It's such a lovely piece of content, I just went with it. If pressed, I'd say that Madame Airi has mastered electromagnetic flux in the aether and that such mastery has produced coils in the ship's hull that protect it and enable it to move even though it has little apparent room to store fuel. What does it use for fuel? Steam produced by the combustion of handwavium! XD
Thanks for taking a moment to comment, JD. I always enjoy hearing from you. I particularly appreciate that you look at my images at full resolution to enjoy my efforts at detail. <3
