I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Oh' yes, Ute (Syltermermaid) created a lot of pretty V4-characters, I have them in my runtime too!

I have the same problem, I have over 300 cds and dvds filled with stuff some of them over 25 years old. I wonder what going to happen to them after I'm gone. BTW, DAZ has a sale going on, a lot of V4 stuff for $2.00 each in case you wanted to add to your hoard.

Got a link for that? All I'm seeing is the usual overpriced Genesis stuff... 😲

Really nice work, here, Rod. I'll have to plead the "5th" on the digital hoarding. I keep telling myself to take a timeout on collecting. But as soon as I do, I see something that I have to have (at least that's how I justify it to myself!). I have some of Syltermermaid's content, too. I know that I have her version of Marilyn, buried deep in my folders. She was a really nice person. It was sad when she passed.

Ha ha cute!
Another digital hoarder here!
I have long ago lost count of all the 3D content for Poser, DAZ Studio and Blender that I have bought. My largest Poser Runtime folder is 51Gb but there are others, plus a DAZ Studio content folder that is 185Gb and a fair amount of Blender purchases, including a few fractals plug-ins, Real Cloud Pro, Physical Celestial Objects and Physical Starlight and Atmosphere. Then there's all the free stuff, some of it as good as the purchased content. I have probably used between 1% and 2% of it to make proper images, though I do have test renders of most items.

Oh, and there's tons more stuff that's never even been installed...
But I expect you knew that.

Beautiful image.
... and I'm relieved I'm not the only digital hoarder.
Inspired_Art
Yeah, yeah, I keep finding items and folders of zips I haven't even unzipped...
Grey_cat
Here you go. I brought over $200 of V4 stuff for around $20. https://www.daz3d.com/generationally-diverse-legacy

The best thing about hoarding in the digital age is it reduces clutter around the home...lol
Cook work and dedi to an amazing person :)

I have a number of Syltermermaid characters that I haven't yet gotten round to rendering. One of them I purchased a long while back on the old Content Paradise still stands the test of time.

Very good art work. Well done. Congratulations!!!

Wow Rod...that's a lot of morphs! You are right about not having enough time to use them. Every time I go through all my external hardrives, I discover so many unused items that I bought and never used! :-)

Very Noble of you Rod! Thank you for mentioning Ute. She was so kind and generous. Always giving and caring.

Happy to hear you finding all these hidden treasures in your external hard drive my friend! Thanks for sharing her beauty with us here! Many fine kudos and praises from me!

Sweet! Real cutie.

Nice picture and you managed a pretty convincing blending of your photograph with the rendered lady. I find that's more challenging than just building a background of rendered objects. XD
