She moved slowly, making every effort not to unsettle her quarry. She closed in upon the single water orchid that had grown and bloomed alone at the waters edge. She careful examined the orchid along its fragile stem to the funnel petal at the top. The brilliant orange seemed even more heightened in the glow of the sunlight. "You know," She whispered softly to the plant. "When you grow apart from the others, you just draw attention to yourself." Her eyes seemingly sparkled with delight as she looked upon the plant. Though she loved the forest, from the trees, to the small ferns and various flowers that grew there; there was something about the water orchids that held a special place in her heart. "She's not our sister!" A voice called out behind her, filled with laughter. "She's actually a water nymph that has been fooling us!" "Sihla!" Another voice called merrily. "Come on! You have been in the water all day! You're going to get wrinkles!"
