~Sam Greenfield (Luck)~
In spite of the lukewarm reception, I actually enjoyed "Luck" (2022) - Apple TV's first animated feature film. Maybe it comes to no surprise that no one made a LoRA for Sam, so here again, I have trained my own, and this is the result. Shockingly, Sam wears no jewelry whatsoever, so I had to add at least a small pendant, or it would be unnatural to me. She also wears jeans with no belt, but... let it be. LOL
I guess the essence of that story was that most people in her skin would easily go sour, where nothing goes right from morning to dawn. That was "Murphy's Law" on its best, where anything that could go wrong DID go wrong, but Sam didn't let that bring her down. In her case, she just got used to it because that's the normal to her.
But behind this comical-tragic plot device was for us to find out that Sam was selfless, where everything she ever does is for somebody else. Though this might come as unrealistic, I actually know people who are exactly like that, and they can't help it because it's how they are.
Conversely, I couldn't help noticing the similarities with Studio Ghibli's "Kiki Delivery Service" (1989), where a young girl leaves her village to embark in a fantastical journey of self-discovery - accompanied by a sarcastic black cat. The black cat from "Luck" even looks, moves and talks like Jiji. Both Sam and Kiki go work at different places, meeting new people and facing challenges. Every time I saw Bob moving or talking, it was like I was seeing Jiji instead (they even look alike).
I also noticed a connection with "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" (1971), where a reclusive person had a magical factory forbidden to others, where fantastic creatures worked. In both tales, the protagonists are ordinary individuals who manage to gain access to these exclusive facilities through sheer luck (no pun intended). Once inside, they embark on thrilling adventures filled with strange discoveries and life-changing experiences. Throughout their journeys, each story highlights the importance of perseverance, hard work, and maintaining one's integrity in the face of temptation and adversity.
So in a way, "Luck" felt like "Kiki Delivery Wonka" - an amalgamation of these stories. Nonetheless, I still liked the movie, and actually watched it twice, which is uncommon to me. It's not like it was a masterpiece, but I just believe it didn't deserve the bad reviews. Sam was funny and likable, and Jiji... (cough) I mean Bob, was fun as well. So here goes my homage to Sam Greenfield.

Your descriptions are always enlighting with all these details. Thank you. I don't know that movie but now I'm curious to see what it's like. This picture of Sam is wonderful and expressing all that you described above: positively thinking and open minded. Great artwork!
