How big was a Tyrannosaurus?

Description


Just a quick image with a 1.85m (roughly six feet) tall human in it. I scaled the Tyrannosaurus in Blender based on the dimensions of "Sue" one of the largest and the most complete (85%) Tyrannosaurus specimen that has been found so far. There is a single isolated Tyrannosaurus femur that was found that was bigger than Sue's, so a few of them might have been even bigger... See my previous image for a more "at home" view of the T. Rex.

Really, really BIG! That 6-foot dude would be a quick snack...

This is really awesome, and really illustrates the size of these (thankfully extinct) lizards. Well done!
