I've always liked the idea of an animal protector or guardian or spirit (not necessarily in a literal sense), but a companion
from which a person can draw insight and even advice and wisdom.

A magnificent scene that evokes an epic in a world where animals do not fear humans, even when the point is to mount a horse to defend herself or other people, and I'm sure this proud warrioress has other, higher values to uphold, which her favorite leopard fortunately knows how to recognize!
