BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

The beautiful thing is that, after seeing so much of your works, I realized that now I think of your shapes as living creatures: this is way different from the first times, when I thought they were sculptures. This to say that you've lighted a lot my imagination. __ And this pic stands righteously among your other beautiful images.

That's very strange ; your style is recognizable between all, and I'm attracted here to make acomment on your work. Beautiful as always

Agree with Doublecrash. I also begin to see these shapes as living entities/sentients. Very unique and beautiful.

You give such life to your forms that one can't help just staring at them. Also, an excellent mat on this one, imperfect and worn.

You have made my day complete once again ... another work too magnificent for me to find appropriate praise to express my appreciation. Glad to see that you maintain your distinct, recognizeablely unique and superior skill. I for one am delighted that you gave up rock dust as a work product - and turned to a form of art for all to enjoy. Continue onward my friends - Your admiring fans will all be waiting to admire your next masterful work. :-D
