Description

The Parasaurolophus Tubicen from the excellent Poser set by Dinoraul, here in the marketplace; I put the Genesis 8 male in, roughly 1.85m (six feet) tall, to give the sense of scale of this beast. I have quite a few of Dinoraul's models, some dinosaurs and even more of his exceptional plant sets. I highly recommend his plants sets, many of which are prehistoric plants that help make things more realistic if you are producing scenes with dinosaurs and you want their surroundings to contain period-correct plant life. Parasaurolophus Tubicen was a late Cretaceous dinosaur, and so a contemporary of Tyrannosaurus Rex, Alamosaurus, and the other dinosaurs I have. I deliberately collected creatures found in the same area of the world and the same period as the Tyrannosaurus so I could make more convincing images containing multiple dinosaurs. As well as the "for scale" series of images I will try to make at least one image of each creature in a period-correct open forest setting. The ParasaurolophusDR set — link below — includes three species of Parasaurolophus, making it particularly good value, and it works well in both Poser and DAZ Studio, though in DAZ Studio best results will only come if you manually edit the shaders. You can also use Diffeomorphic to port it to Blender fully rigged. Rendered in Blender 4.0.2 with DAZ Studio used to convert the dinosaur figure to weight-mapped (automatically!) and the Diffeomorphic plug-ins used to port the figure to Blender.

Another excellent scale presentation. This critter looks like it could run pretty well to avoid becoming a T-Rex snack!

You and Adorety (Art) should do a collab.
