Hi everyone!
I am a Hobbyist just having fun with Graphics.
I have been away from this site for a very long time, but I am happy
to be back and look forward to seeing all the wonderful art from the
talented artists who post here at Renderosity.
I work primarily with Poser Pro 2012, 3ds Max 2012 and Adobe
Premiere Pro. It's older software but it works for me :-)
I mostly use V4 and M4 in all my animations. they are easy to work
with and do not take excessive resources away from my PC. I use a
Dell Optiplex 7010. It's a great computer and you can find them cheap
on e-bay.
While I do most of my own modeling using 3ds Max, I primarily model
the environments in which my Poser characters live.I find myself going
to Daz3d and RMP for all my character, texture and clothing needs.
I animate and set up all my characters inside Poser and then transfer
them to Max by using a Fusion Poser/Max plugin. I then set up the lights,
cameras and all needed textures within Max.
I render the animations by using a V-Ray plugin. I use a 2.35 image aspect
ratio on all my video animations. It just gives them a more cinematic look.
I thank you for looking at my Gallery!

If you leave RR, it will be a huge loss.for me! You are what I call a "REAL "artist, even if you are a hobbyist. Too many images without any talent or creativity are posted here. I can understand that some people like creating images. But they must be realist and recognize that they are only amateurs. Using AI is for lazy people, like are the ones using fractals. Too many people at RR are posting 3D images without interest too.
I appreciate your humor, your creativity, your talent for staging. This video is an example of what somebody with a good idea, who prepares his movie in advance, and who master a software well, is able to make. As a retired art teacher who has helped students to create all kind of videos during around 20 years, often mixing different media and techniques ( video, 3D, stop motion, 2D ) I can tell you that I appreciate a lot your videos! Many of my students have become professionals now and I am proud of that. So, if you stop uploading images at RR, please, tell us where we could look at your new videos!

This is a great idea I would expect to see on a TV show like Top Gear. Nice camera angles and sounds, if it were me driving I would be in the drink. Great presentation as always.

You really are a true animator, and this is fantastic. The camera views, sound, and the effects are very impressive. You can be a professional animator with creations like this. Truly awesome work.
I hope to see many more of these awe-inspiring animations in the future. I am envious of your talent. Fantastic!
I know how long an animation can take to render it can be very frustrating to have to wait hours and hours to render a 30 to 60 second animation or even days for longer animations. Not to mention the re-renders when something does not look right, ouch! Not everyone can have the patience to do what you have posted here. I really hope that you will keep on keeping on and never surrender. lol Thanks for sharing.

As always, your work is outstanding. As a "lazy person" I hope my opinion rates among the others that love your work.

This is great, well done and time well spent. Regardless of viewership and praise, what you've done here, must really feel, accomplished. Only furthered by your confidence to say "finished and post!". Just can't fathom that same satisfaction, just sitting telling R2 to replicate things. If I were blind or paralyzed, it'd be the cat's ass but otherwise, "boring" comes to mind. So my friend, keep on rockin' this stuff! Humans Rule!

dang nab this is freaking awesome video Johnny, love the fast action, music and power of the car. there have been countless amount of artists leaving over the last few years. hope one day they will come back. hope you stick around my friend.

Johnny! Wow! I'm blown away by this incredible video! Definitely up to your high standards! I've watched it several times already and continue to be astounded! You get super high grades and maximum kudos from me for this stupendous endeavor! Thanks so very much for sharing your talents here with us! As to loss of so many of our fellow artists and friends, I can only feel sadness for the impact of time passages and changing norms! The old adage keeps rearing it's ugly head: 'Nothing lasts forever! Time passages!' I look forward to your next deliveries!

Wow I admire so much the perfection of this video itโs fabulously done, the synchronization with the sound is very realistic and the idea of the track on an aircraft carrier is amazingโฆ Thank you for sharing this wonder !! I agree with you for Renderosity, time are changing and unfortunately Renderosity too !!

This is absolutely AMAZING, Johnny! I love this - the whole concept is creative and so beautifully done!
You certainly don't want to spin off the track here!
Damn it! WHEN is the "top brass" here going to wake up and SEE what's happening???? We've just lost one brilliant artist, and someone who actually participated in the community. How many more do we lose? I hope you stay, Johnny, but if you leave I understand why - and have considered leaving as well - many times.
All they have to do is reduce the daily limit to 4 or at most 5 uploads. We're all sick and tired of all the repetitive image floods and AI taking over the galleries. I'll shut up now, before I get myself banned again.
Hope you reconsider, my friend...

Hi, your new video is absolutely well done dear Johnny! I was reading your intro text, I can't give you an answer and you know why and I don't want to be sent back into "exile" because of a stupid comment, so I'll keep my mouth shut, now and in the future! If I continue to be avoided because of AI, then please, my health and my eyes are more important for me. I also upload 3D-graphics vewry often too, but not many people seem to notice! Sad, sad, sad! All the rewards I earn, I give them to other artists, because my runtime is big enough!

This is epic! I love your creativity, as well as the skill with which you bring your ideas to my screen. Despite the way Renderosity is going, I really hope you don't leave.

Hi, woa an amazing animation :)
Whenever I see animations I ask myself how long they will render and what kind of hardware (or render farm?) is behind it...

Totally FUN! I watched it twice. I love the low angle chase camera perspectives. And how crazy is it to add an Aircraft Carrier into the dynamics.
dakotajaroo
very cool animation, excellent point of view

This was worth the wait to see, I was so taken by it that my popcorn got cold ;)
Just gotta do what you gotta do for you and your creative process, I so admire the work you and other animators put in and your patience to achieve this level of entertainment. Superb, original and fun, although I would need a boat in the water all the time on every corner nowadays :)

Great work as always.

This video is truly a breathtaking achievement, and I was and still am mesmerized watching it. I wish I could grasp a tenth of the prep work and tasks involved in it, but alas, I am just a modest photographer. I do hope you'll resist the temptation of leaving RR, your skills and intelligence are not artificial, but absolutely real and worth being admired and encouraged over here. Think it twice but don't let others or even your own disarray put your creativity and skills down. You don't deserve this, whatever the evolution of RR may be like, whatever the impact of AI may be on the creativeness of some artists here who've chosen to believe in the power of algorithms.

I'm very impressed, firstly by this extraordinary video; it is incredibly well made, the pace, the twists of 'the plot' (is this what they call it?); anyway, I have a lot of respect for your skilled work, haha, I could never bring even a fraction of this to fruition in my life.
Secondly, I apologize for not giving many responses to you, Johnny; this is due to health issues (especially concerning my eyes).
I agree with you, certain artistic expressions are almost extinct here on RR, so many friends I miss, no more forum of certain sections. I don't know which friend it is who has bid farewell, but I do know that not much is left, or rather has remained, of what RR once was. A lively community, haha, which now perhaps lies on its backside?
As for my various art forms, I post them in my gallery 'for fun,' and if I've the energy for it; I mean, it's my gallery, and it's good to enjoy it ((just) for myself). It took a long time for me to dare to view it this way.
It's also your great video's, you make with so much love and with your heart in it. You're a very special artist, Johnny, I hope you continue to let everyone who wants to see it, enjoy your skills and impressive achievements here. Let nothing stop you, Johnny, just what you want!

NOOOOO ! Please stay ! Your animations are always original, so well done, all in all a pleasure for the eyes (and the ears !). A question : are those guys crazy ? Because speeding on a boat...wow !

I'm confused, how can I not remember you? To be honest I have never seen anything of this quality and style on RR. I know I left in 2010 but I remember StoneMason Calum 5 and Rochr, so why not you? Anyway have you ever been approached by the 'industry'? Coz if you can produce vids like this at home what could you do in a studio? Now faved and following.

Outstanding. For me, your works are interesting and special. Digital art has not yet found its place in the art world. Don't be discouraged, you are a true artist !!!!!!

I marvel at your skills ,dear Johnny. I always wonder how you succeed to create such beautiful animation. I guess it is time consuming, of course. Now I've read that you're thinking about leaving this site. Please, think twice ! You have many friends there who like your artwork. It will be a great loss for us if you decide to leave !

wow that's amazing!

Incredible work!
Please, please don't leave!!! Your animations have made me try harder on mine - even if I don't use the same software. It would be a huge loss if you go as well ๐๐
