Until now we only knew about Tyrannosaurus Rex, but now it seems there was possibly another species called Tyrannosaurus mcraeensis that lived a few million years earlier in New Mexco. This species lived in the southern part of the continent Laramidia- now part of the west north america all the way from 72 million years ago. So its doubtful this species ever said hello to its northern cousin.
So in my picture I imagine the two species (or sub species) meeting up in a forset on the southern tip of the ancient cotinent. At this time the cotinent was still divided by a shallow inland sea. Across the way is the eastern continent o Applachia- consisting of land that will later forn the eastern US states and a good chunk of Canada and greenland. This late into the age of dinosaurs, volcanism was pretty extensive as can be seen in the background.
