ahh good..... you're back.

Years ago I was despairing a bit as fires ravaged the Australian countryside threatening this particular iconic lil guy. I'm glad conservation efforts were succesful in rescuing as many of them as they could, though the long-term genetic health of the animals with a smaller population is still unresolved, as far as I know.

But great render of one in your usual floral honorific style.

thank you very much my sweet friend, sadly these severe weather events are taking a massive toll on our Koala's, yes genetically there is not really enough diversity and the ongoing land clearing for housing estates is rapidly devastating their habitat, I do believe that in the not to distant future our Koala's will only survive in zoos and animal parks xx❤️

Beautiful image. The world needs more koalas, it would be a sadder, smaller planet without them. Let's all hope that day never comes, we've lost too many species already.
