isn't it amazing what you can do in lightwave with 1 light and 1 particle? i saw this as a supernova kind of thing, my girlfriend saw it as a gaseous planet. obviously she won :p heheh

hey, thanks for your comments :) here's a list of what i used: SpotLight: Red_Shift preset, with default size etc. Particle Emitter: size 10mm all around so i'd have my particle close enough to the center of the image and i changed Birthrate to 2 so there'd only be 1 particle there. Hypervoxels: Default_Volume preset, with particle size 1.2m if you put both of them on 0,0,0 coordinates, the smoke-like hypervoxel particle creates the 'explosion' effect in the center of the light. pretty neat huh? heheh lemme know if you need a better explanation :)
