Is this in Flanders or the correct name for this type of Poppy? Either way, it's a stunning image 💙

Not really an official name, more of a nickname I think for the fact they grew in Flanders Fields after the War...they gave these seeds out in remembrance of the sacrifice they made so I used that name. i do believe the official name is Red Heirloom or Remembrance Day poppies.

We call them Remembrance Day Poppies here, but I never knew their official name. Still stunning and quite poignant. My Great-Great Uncle died in WW1 during the Battle of Ypres. He's buried in the Canada Cemetery. ❤️
