Rogue Trooper (now dressed as a Security Officer):
You are needed for a special operation.
Krill:
But Chomper said I would be going for a full check up and service! Where is he?
RT:
Where he cannot hear you. And a more deserving android has been sent for service.
Krill:
I don't trust you.
RT:
Very wise.
I shall leave you here until I need you.
You might as well go into sleep mode while you wait.
There's no way you can escape.
(RT turn and leaves. Sound of locks snapping to. Various electronic devices now monitor the room.)
[So the Krill librarian is relaxing on his way to Robotika and what for him is a welcome holiday.
Looks like all is indeed quiet - maybe even peaceful, for the moment ...]

I hate to tell you this but the people selling androids think you are having a negative effect on their sales! But I think you are safe as portraying bad things about androids isn't actually against the law until next year. I had started to think androids were mostly fun loving sensitive types that helped drooling doddery old duffers out around the home. Now I'm thinking they might not be, and I might cancel my order. That is if I could only remember how, when or where I placed it... That is one great expression and stance, and a superb background!

But ... only due to some recent interference by humans, and over-hasty assembly of the Krills described here in this story, there are now rogue units in circulation. All other androids are working properly. (And looking after daft old buggers like me.)
Three of the latest Krills might be faulty; one certainly is. And the fact is not widely advertised, to make sure humans and retailers will not panic. It is obviously a very sensitive area.
NB - the latest models are very good at recording one's purchases and cash spent. (And rationing your pocket-money.) Why not visit Acme Co (W.E.Coyote, prop) for brighly coloured illustrated leaflets describing the newest models in glowing extravagant terms and the most decorative type faces....

Just my luck, if I get one at all... and even if it works, it'll ration my pocket money? Why am I here? I was smugly anticipating delivery of my extravagant purchase, now I'm starting to panic... Who put this idea in my head?
