This Dream House is located somewhere in the Hill Country of Texas, perhaps near Kerrville where the Guadalupe River runs. It is situated on a bluff high enough so that if the river floods it will be safe and the views will be spectacular in any season. This area has three wonderful seasons, the fourth being a very mild short “winter”. There are neighbors nearby but not close.
I am showing my favorite room in this dream house. There is glorious sunlight streaming in its many windows. It is a traditional comfy room filled with soft soothing colors. Drink coffee in the morning, a soda and snack in the afternoon, and a cocktail in the evening. I will read to my heart’s content, listen to my favorite play list, or just sit and watch the river swirl by and daydream. In the corner you can’t see is my computer where I can create whenever the mood strikes me.
While this probably would not have been my choice of a dream house when I was younger, it is perfect for where I am in my life now.
