Description
So on 2/26/24 I adopted a new baby...This is Lacey, she is thirteen years old...she weighs only 5.9lbs and is probably the sweetest cat I have ever owned...totally a lap kitty...she is so quiet, when she purrs you can't hear it but you can feel it...she was in the shelter18 days because her previous owners couldn't care for her anymore...she is perfect for me because I'm quiet too...she has some dental problems and some alopetia (missing hair on her belly and the inside of her back legs...there were a lot of younger cats and kittens but I needed her and she needed me...they say it takes about three months for them to settle in, not this cat, its like she has lived here forever and she minds when I tell her no (most cats won't) Anyway I am still missing my Tig but it doesn't hurt as much now, all good memories, no more nightmares...so I just wanted to share my great news, in a week or so I should be able to get back to commenting, just have to give her a little more attention for now.Thank you for looking and for past comments...I hope you all are well!

It was probably such an unexpected encounter , but most certainly and above all, a feeling that you and Lacey deep down were looking for, namely to trust each other and give each other the best of yourselves to share one more time moments of friendship and tenderness, something everybody longs for, to live to the full in one's life. ...and it shows on this photo ! Take good care of her and of yourself !
