The Samils, based on a V3 standard figure, were planned to be workers assigned to occupations in conditions now deemed to be dangerous or health-endangering, such as working with furnaces and metals at extremely high temperatures. They are coated with heat-resistant materials, their colours distinguishing which part of the steel industry they work in. Nowadays, with increasing mechanisation, and less need for android units in the industry, they are available as workers in any category and take great delight in wearing smart outfits.
