Hi, from South Texas.
I like to swim, play cards and play on this computer with all sorts of programs. I am also an avid reader, mostly fiction.
I am glad you stopped by.....hope you will take time to look at my gallery. As a side note, I am honored to have been chosen as Artist of the Month for December 2022. Thanks to all that voted.

People should be able to live, not merely survive. Everyone should have the right to happiness and a decent chance in life.

On the art: excellent as always. You do have a knack for it.
On the subject: my words, they are failing me right now. So I will borrow these -- alas, the author did not sign it or I would properly credit. "Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich."
And it is way past time we did something about fixing that.

It's a scene(s) that's really well done! Saw this already every day, when I was living in Spain.

Quite a good haul for a dumpster diver in the first one - useable clothes. Usually it's more like the last one, with old food wrappers that sometimes contain rotten items that ruin everything else in the bin. Rarely you'll find boxed-up half-eaten fresh or semi fresh goodies, but not often. You kind of have to wait for the right day and time for those to hit the bin, so timing is important - shortly after lunch or dinner you might find a goodie. Food can also be salvaged by quietly hanging out at restaurants and just waiting for someone to finish, leaving a half-eaten meal. Then grab and go - a heavy Ziploc bag helps - at least until the waiters or other staff try to run you off.
Not that I know much about that sorta thing or anything. Great render series though, kind of captures that sad day-to-day desperation. Upvoted.

This makes me so sad. We honestly should have the resources to make sure everyone can live well but it is never divided fairly
