Now this is a graphic novel I can sink my teeth into. But should it be read left to right, or right to left, like manga?

Either, as it works both ways - the stories are completely different though.

Doesn't there have to be some boom chicka wow wow in the story somewhere nowadays, at least implied?

Thanks - I think "Kachikety-Boom... Gajugata-jugata-jugata" is very possibly the best line I've ever written ! Minya Nouvelle font if anybody's wondering.
