Description

~Dirty Pair Yuri~ This is Yuri, where some things the AI just couldn't get right. She should wear a glove in only one hand, which is hard for the AI to do due the residual training from the base model, and she should have an upper arm strap on the opposite side. Asymmetrical designs like this can confuse the AI and make it hard to get right. The short's design also has side cutoffs that just won't show. Well, it's 95% right, so bear with me. Yuri might have been my first waifu crush back in the mid 1980s. Maybe the only one ever since? A lot of special things were created in Japan in 1985, where one of my selfish pleasures when coming back from work in Tokyo was to watch "Dirty Pair". It featured 2 characters that first appeared in the "Crusher Joe" sci-fi OAV, and got so popular that they ended up getting their own show where they were the protagonists: Kei (the dark-skinned redhead tomboy) and Yuri (the pale and girly brunette). Yuri (19) was the shy but smart one, while Kei (also 19) was the impulsive trigger-happy counterpart. I would classify this show as a sci-fi/action/drama/comedy series. There was a bit for everyone in there. Both girls worked as trouble consultants (team "234") for the WWWA (World Welfare Works Association), along with their giant cat Mughi, who could pilot spaceships. The duo called themselves the "Lovely Angels", though other people knew them as the "Dirty Pair" due to their frequent accidental collateral damage - to include accidentally blowing up a large space station, and even an entire planet. Want to see large things accidentally blowing up? Then stick around these two! One funny fact about the WWWA and the girls was that Haruka Takachiho, the Dirty Pair manga author, was a huge fan of the WWWA (World Women's Wrestling Association), which led her to transport pro-wrestling into the pages of a sci-fi space opera. The title came from some of the popular female wrestling teams called the "Queen Angels", which in the manga became the "Lovely Angels", and the "Beauty Pair", which became the "Dirty Pair". The protagonist names, Kei and Yuri, came from the names of 2 employees (Yuri Tanaka and Keiko Otoguro) from Studio Nue, which was co-founded by Takachiho. Though the series is not about pro-wresting, it got its roots from it in many ways. But to be fair, I don't think they could help themselves, so there was one episode I remember where there was a female pro-wrestling fight in a ring. I would be surprised if that didn't happen, but it was only in 1 single episode from the TV series. The girls got so popular that they got a featured on the influential NewType magazine in Japan, which is, coincidentally, the same magazine where it is believed to be where the term "Anime" was first used in Japanese history. I bought that magazine, and I still have it here somewhere. After the success of the TV series, they continued their disastrous adventures with several movies and OAVs. Yuri also got a lightsaber, making homage to Star Wars. A decade later, a new TV series called "Dirty Pair Flash" (1995) was released, where they changed the characters too much, like Yuri was now dumb as a door. Of course, I watched it, but didn't quite like it. The art and story didn't have the same quality level, looking more like a cash-grab over a once popular franchise, where they didn't honor the legacy. So, if you just watch the original TV series, the movies, and the OAVs, you are well-served. 3D poses and camera set in Poser with my OpenPose plugin, rendered in Stable Diffusion, postwork in PaintShop.

I know that for an enthusiast all details are important. Sometimes I'm just like that. But anyway, every detail I can see makes her more beautiful. Great work!

... blowing up a whole planet? Hmm, now I'm getting curious LOL

Thank you! I believe it was in the "Project Eden" movie where one of the girls carelessly threw a bottle over her shoulder, which [accidentally] started a chain reaction that ended up exploding the entire planet. Then they comment they will probably deduct that from their paycheck. LOL That's pure Dirty Pair juice. 😁

Oh, this is already quite photoshopped, and I already made 3D Yuri many times in Poser, where this was the last one --> https://www.deviantart.com/ken1171/art/Space-Angel-Yuri-839147335 where I made everything from scratch, from her clothing to her body morphs.

Cannot post here because Rendo doesn't support GIF animations, or any animation for that matter. Here's an older one from 2012, https://www.deviantart.com/ken1171/art/Dirty-Pair-AD-288581695 where I made both 3D Kei and Yuri in Poser 12 years ago. 😁
