I am a traditional 2D artist that has slowly moved into 3D modelling, 3D & 2D animation/video. Even though I have been doing it for a few years, I am still learning many things since I started out. I create characters based on some of my old 2D sketches, or sometimes from photographs of family and friends, and naturally others from my own imagination and magazines. My Bio picture is based on an old photo and sketch of me from a Halloween party from years ago for example - I removed the photo as I didn't realise how HUGE it was when you click on Bio!!!!
I also create content for my language business and online shops; and I undertake a limited amount of commission work
My interests are in Archaeology because it's old like me. Culture and History because they are important.
And above all, kindness and honesty because there should more of that in the world.
I don't have social media accounts dedicated to my art because my business takes up a lot of time. However, I have been a deviant art member for many years.
I started with Poser a number of years ago but at the moment I'm doing quite a lot using Reallusion software. It's definitely a learning curve!
Thank you for looking and comments and constructive criticism are very much welcomed! I will always do my best to acknowledge comments, because if people take the time to comment, then I think it only right that I take the time to acknowledge that.

it actually turned out very well!! I really like the overhead shot of the first image and the second, where your logo seems to fly from the girl's hand

Thank you so much! I never noticed that about the logo - a nice observation. Your comment is very much appreciated as always ๐

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your comment because lighting - especially bright lighting - is not my strength ๐

It looks like this girls photo shoot is going well in your capable hands and she looks like she is having fun at it! I especially like the second image as it looks like the lighting was more evenly distributed on her face. One thing about using bright lights is that at times it tends to make the skin have a bit more glow and reflections when bright lighting bounces off the skin.
When doing 3D art work it can easily be remedied by adjusting the brightness level on the lights or lowering the F-stop aperture settings on the camera a bit, In a real life setting, its more about having the right lighting and applying more makeup on those in front of the camera to help to get rid of reflections.
By lowering the light a bit more in your first image you will take away some of the yellowing on the white background and rid her face of reflections due to bright lights. Have yourself a great day! :-)

Thanks JohnnyM for the tip! I did try to lower the brightness because it looks like she's perspiring under those studio lights! But I gave up because this was the best one out of 3 attempts to rid her of the shiny face look. Many thanks for your comments they are very much appreciated as always ๐

Thank you so much! It's something I've wanted to do for a while but could never find a good set. I need to practice brighter lighting so I thought the theme went with that idea. Thank you again for your comment, it is much appreciated as always ๐

I really like that studio pov you did and lighting is perfect in it :)
Lighting is always a fiddle per scene thing, Johnny is right with F-stop, and light level plays but also you can create or use ghost lights for a more subtle play with light and shadow and in a lot of work I do I drop out environment lighting and use only what is in the scene for creating a bit more depth with just the scene lights, you can also set any gloss to 0 on skin in surfaces to get rid of over shiny surfaces or turn off highlights in iray settings on Daz.
Love the work and idea. Excellent :)

Thank you! That sounds like a lot of work! Thank you for the tip regarding environment lighting. I shall try that to see what happens. I did a forehead slap when you mentioned turning off highlight setting iray.
Thank you so much for the lighting tips. I have a lot of playing around with lights to do! ๐๐ฃ
