Description

I was in the house alone and so I had have a play round with Blender. I came across this prop of a tower so my mind went wild. I added the night backdrop thought that's cool but then I looked I said to have the tower and a base the there would be no detail I added a plane and placed an land material on it but that would not work for me. so the sea went on it.. That worked for a single image not for any animation. the old ship went in, a bit of a play about and just under 1000 frames later at 40 seconds a frame I got this. I had a story in mind about the attack on a sea port we killed all round well the men anyway, we then took all the gold and all the women between 14 and 30 on our ship and left before any one found us. I had a second animation in mind to follow this of the town houses on fire as we sailed out again but as this animation took almost 14 hours in total to make and I have other plans for tomorrow this got knocked on the head for now anyway Oh before I forget t is just over 30 seconds of run time Well that's my day how was yours

This animation turned out great for you! I enjoyed viewing it as it went across my screen so smoothly...it's obvious a skilled captain was the wheel guiding it along! :-)

Agreeing with JohnnyM, the smooth fluidity of the scene was most impressive. Marvelous animation, very well done!
