Oh thank you, Steve! Thanks for celebrating my birthday! And for this wonderful tongue-in-cheek piece on the old pun "seymour butts". I've heard that phrase in lots of contexts---some which can't be repeated on this site---but your piece is the best and most playful of them all.
I love your steampunk---I don't know what that big vessel is, but I love it. It's like a ship about to be rolled into the world. And the chamber suggests a steampunk ocean liner mixed with a bit of a cathedral, a spaceship, and a touch of a frankenstein's laboratory.
Your model is done with riotous defiance (like "take this, people!"), and, as you do in all your work, you melded her colors with those of the whole piece. A pinup with real attitude. Your visual sense is always a big splash of celebration and often humor. You've not flagged in that in all the years I"ve seen you here.
Thank you for the dedi, Steve. I've decided to stop counting my years (this was 75--that's enough!). But you've always been so kind to me, and I appreciate every bit of it. And (as always) thank you for your wonderful comments, every one, and your continued marvelous eye and creativity, and the love you share with me and everyone else.
