well! Another of your themes and variations...and you seem to like 7 of them...and then you give us a surprise ending, with a completely different 8th image! The first 7 are pure 1940s hollywood, with all the grace and mystery that the best of those films had. You got a very strong 'bronze' tone, too, in several of these---it's very well applied. And the various poses bring out the glamour, grace and eye-popping purity of these hollywood moments.
(In the Hollywood "screwball comedies" of the 1930s and 1940s, everyone lived in penthouse apartments overlooking manhattan...they all were unbelievably rich, they came to breakfast in dinner gowns and tuxedoes, they never worked (!), and they spoke in classy---and somewhat pretentious---northeastern United States accents that made them sound like american royalty. You captured that feeling here totally. Very classy.)
You also included 2 more fully colored images, with a deep gold tinge. The light in all of these images is definitely glamour-lighting, right out of 40s hollywood.
And then your final image---whoosh: We're suddenly in old england (!), a scene out of barroom musicals, tavern shindigs and music hall comedies, with two turn-of-the-century lovers meeting and discovering each other through courting and dance. Great outfits! And I love the composition, with the arch behind them, and that billiards hall on an angle. Great how you end these with a surprise finish. A terrific series.
