I was taking a shortcut through the desert about a month or so ago and a storm was picking up in the distance. I pulled over and sat there for a while, just staring, simply mesmerized by what I was seeing... and that is where this was born. That single moment has left me more contemplative than I have been in a long while as well as just a tad regretful for not taking more time for myself. The background took me the most time (almost three weeks) and the sky was mostly from my memories of that moment. The outcrops and lighting was tricky and getting the shadows to fall the way I wanted was sometimes painful. The only 3D object used was for her basic anatomy and pose, but that was painted over several time and very little remains. Anyways... hope y'all are doing well!
