Description
James:
A companion, Miss Agnes?
Agnes:
Well, I've been widowed these six years or so and getting a bit bored living on my own.
I have a part-time maid, but she isn't very chatty.
The other day I was out shopping and met Old Joe walking with a bright young lass.
So, being inquisitive, I asked if she was a relative. He laughed and said no, she's a companion - an android.
Triton:
The girls are very much favoured by widowers.
James:
And you -
Agnes:
So I thought, well if those old lads can have pretty companions, why shouldn't I get one too?
I rang a local agency and they sent Triton along.
James:
And you, Triton - happy with the job?
Triton:
Certainly, Miss Agnes is a delightful friend and companion.
Her maid, though, took one look at me and gave her notice - she's not very keen on androids and robots.
Chomper:
Are you a good cook?
Agnes:
Yes, he is. And I have some automated gadgets to do some of the housework, though the cat keeps stealing the roomba.
While the machines work away, we're going to visit the town dance hall. Going to persuade my old bones they can still dance!

From Agnes's last dialogue we can see that she does not consider Triton a machine :). Sometimes it gets hard to draw the line, when "machines" display more empathy and soul than some so called "humans". Happy for Agnes to find such a handsome companion to go around town with. Nice to see James and Chomper in relatively more "peaceful and relaxed" times LOL.

Notice Chomper has the focus on what's important: can he cook? :D
