The quilt is a wonderful work of art. I've always been fond of fabric art. So much time and effort goes into creating just one quilt.

Yes, patchwork quilts are quite beautiful and a great way of using small or odd shaped pieces of fabric :) Lots of work but the end results are amazing.

when my older sister was still alive, she would be busy making quilts for babies. I still have the that she made for me she made for me. they involve so much time and effort

That's wonderful :) Oh, I can definitely imagine how much work it must have been; to be honest, I don't think I'd have the patience! But I admire those that do :)
