Description

The funny little 'ships' are robotic devices I call 'seekers.' I built them with the intent that they would be flying 'the wrong way,' but of course it looks more like they're flying away from the camera. However you look at it is fine. =) All the modeling/texturing was done by me. Some post-processing for color, but DOF was done direct in Strata 3D 3.0.2. Original render: 1280x960, 20 minutes.

well, it's some of the best work I've seen done in Strata.

Very cool--have you thought about making the tunnel dim and the seekers having their own light source?

Thanks for the comments :) I hadn't thought of that, shayhurs, but that's a great idea. I'll fiddle around with it a bit, and if I get anything good I'll post it. I'm sure I'll be using the Seekers in some more scenes...all the reflectivity is a lot of fun to play with.

To your credit I thought the little ships were heading towards me, although after your description of them heading away I can only think of them that way. Excellent perspective and modeling on the tube walls. The little reflective ships are very slick.
