I've been doing art for a long time. I use to do my work using an airbrush and standard paint brushes, but now use only the computer. I have a MFA degree in painting, but make my living doing graphic design. The work that I do using the computer, looks almost the same as the work I use to do using an airbrush. I've now use AI images to start with and fix and modify them. Except for the ability to create an image a whole lot faster, all that has changed is the clean-up. "click".

I think I might have seen this one before. Its actually an art piece available in some desktop wallpaper site. I believe this is a forgery of that piece. That's what happens when AI messes things up.
To clear it out, this is not art, but code. There is essentially no 'intellectual' value on it. This piece is not supposed to be subject to copyright and because its real owners are web citizens, meaning its owned by all of us. It's a stitched piece from the public domain and so it means anyone can actually put their signature on it and sell it somewhere else to the price they desire.
It is not bound by any of the rules of this community and if ever an argument is taken, it is by formality. Technically, the 'artist' of the piece is not an 'artist' but can be categorized as 'content' or 'program.' Which leads us to the idea that people can actually buy people who do stuff like this (well yeah that seems like awkward coz it sounds like slavery, but that's how it works in a legal setting)
Missed the old 'human' works of such respectable artists here and the other communities. The craftsmanship and timelessness of their pieces. I hope they return to being humans and not mere facades of a reality that is distorted.
Best of luck :)

It's not forgery of any piece on a wallpaper site. First of all, it's the wrong format for wallpaper. This piece was derived from refining about 25 images till I got this. As with TV shows, if you don't like it don't watch or look at it.

Really nice composition, but then again I'm a big sucker for nautical things...Turner would have loved this :-)

Color-wise yes, but it's too well defined for him. - Bob
