Description
Another Volumetrics sphere.
I've been making these using only one fractal, trying to build my own Distorted 3D fractal. This is a single MonoFractal with nested Distorted Noise basis. The main Basis Function is the first Distorted Noise, mixing two additional Distorted Noise functions, for a total of four basis noises.
There is some kind of internal crossover built into Mojo but I have no user control over it. I'm going to try outboard Noises instead - for more crossover control and to make the diffuse blends more flexible as well.
This was intended as a target for my photogrammetry experiments but I ran into a snag - see the MJW User Group.

This is rather wonderful....Chop it up and place in a wide saucepan with plenty of butter, a little water and some white wine. Add some garlic ,ground turmeric and a lashing of cumin seeds. Par boil gently until softened and liquid is evaporated. Serve with spiced lamb and basmati rice.
