Description

No, it's not a tiger named patience, it's a tiger being patience itself! Sometimes when cats see prey looking nervous they freeze, and I have seen a domestic cat stand absolutely still for more than ten minutes, with the only movement being her breathing — and I really had to look closely to see it. She got the mouse. Not sure what this tiger is hunting but he will probably get that too. I hope I captured that pose, the alert and frozen still look. I finally got to grips with Blender's new hair & fur system and although it was confusing at first it really is superb. I haven't yet replaced the polygonal mane on the tiger but that will come in time. The magnificent Hivewire 3D tiger in Stonemason's enchanted forest; thanks to both creators for superb products. Rendered in Blender 4.1.1 with no post-work other than the addition of text.

One of Attenborough's specials has a segment of a tiger stalking a chital. It couldn't possibly have been more careful and more deliberate. Great render.

This is really beautiful! You put a lot of work into this and it shows! Their patience is truly amazing! (I wish I had a little bit of it!)
