Description
In December I was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer. No cure they say, but with chemo my life can be prolonged.
Every 2 weeks I sit in chemo for 5 hours having chemicals pumped into me. Then they attach a "ball" that has more chemicals in it to me to wear home for 2 days. Then I go in and they remove it from me. Freedom! The treatments have been making me pretty ill. I have lost 40lbs..I look like walking death and am very weak. BUT..the good news, is that the chemo is working. It is killing the cancer. Last blood test shows the cancer has shrunk from 100% to 30%. Last CatScan showed it is not spreading and the chemo is killing it. It won't totally go away I am aware, but maybe I can stick around for maybe 10 more years..hopefully!
