They emerged from the cavern onto the rock shelf of the alcove.
Avarris instantly gasped in fear.
"No."
"Stay close to me." La'Ahna stated in a lowered tone of voice.
"But that's Lord Gavik. He is a highly trained and skilled warrior." Her voice trembled. "You have weapons. Help him. Please."
"I have been ordered to not interfere in this matter." Though inside she desperately wanted to. "And you do not know this Navarre. He has grown much since last you met."
"But it's Gavik."Be still, be silent, and hold your puppy." La'Ahna stared ahead intently. "Behold, a Hierarch in motion."
"What?" Avarris glanced towards the taller woman.
