Hm, any tips on avoiding the jpg compression artefacts that appear when uploading? The local .jpg looks just fine on my screen. Tks

I don't visit as often as I'd like. Not seeing artifacts on iPad. Nice work on the water. Plane has surface topography? Normal map? Still messing around with it myself.

Tks for having a look! Well, as I recall it, I just used the water bumpmap for displacement, no other maps involved. And I avoid normalmaps at almost any cost:-))

...so you're actually working on the "Edo, Old Japanese Town, vol 5"? If so, quite a coincidence, as I've had it in my runtime for years, and just decided to dust it off:)) I'll happily share my water surface settings for aweSurface, used in the render, just let me know;)
