I think you might be right about this particular business man, Johnny! After all, he has had it now for hmmmm, what, 60 some odd years. Perhaps he has gotten most of the joy of owning it out of his system by now and is perhaps thinking of the costs of a funeral and such! Also, the grand kids would likely fight over it so you might be doing him a favor by purchasing it from him? LOL! Just kidding my friend!
