Description

This is one of the best Tyrannosaurus Rex models around and is made by Rebor. It is the right scale with the others, is nice and bulky and has....lips. It's likely few have thought about dinosaur lips, but it was something that was pondered on since we have very few fossils of preserved flesh. But recent studies and examples have confirmed that predators and others had lips. Predators were often depicted with exposed teeth like crocs and alligators. However, those aquatic animals are in the water all the time and that keeps their teeth wet so they don't dry out. Without lips, land animals and dinos' teeth would dry and crack. So Allosaurus and T. rex had mouths more like a monitor lizard or typical lizard. The old ruler gives you an idea of the scale. This guy didn't eat Wonder Bread to get big and strong.

Well, hello, Rex! That's a big one - but then the real ones were pretty hefty fellows!

Smaller critters build strong bodies 12 (or more) ways!
