I use 7 algorithms and about 40 moves.(yawn)

I think you need to take a step back towards your quest in creating the ultimate non Giger looking alien creature, this slimy alien creature is the stuff nightmares are made from.
In a futuristic sci-fy world, I would envision you as a dream maker specialist with the ability to control what others dream of while asleep. Your gift to the masses as a "Nightmare Designer" would be for you to envision the scariest nightmares tailored to each and every citizen that desires such an experience.
In the end you would attain fame and a reputation as the ultimate nightmare maker in the entire galaxy! :-)

Hey Johnny as usual you just bake my noodle! I take it I no longer need to to create another alien (exo) yes? Anyway thanks for taking the time to comment. always makes my day. :-)

Love the colors and lighting. I'd hate to clean up after this thing takes a flight. - Bob

Ok, pull over! License and registration, please. Do you have any idea how many Parsecs you were going?
(Yeah, I know Parsecs do not work like that. I was thinking of an old movie...)
Magnificent! Yeah, Giger really did set the standard, justly so. This fellow is almost Aquatic in feel, and to me, does not give off the bio/mechanical vibe Giger was so good at. It is more like something that swam up from a very dark, very deep, and very scary ocean. The warmer light you have above it, off centered a bit, give the whole thing nice depth. Good choice!
A thought I had was the various instrumentation and and such around the Pilot did not seem to be useable by it. It did not look 'tentacle friendly', if that makes any sense at all. Was the Pilot being assisted/used by something/someone else very different from it? Or did some subcontractor really botch the cockpit assembly, and the Pilot had to just roll with it? :-)
Darkness and Giger go hand in hand, so a thought I had was could something brightly lit still be scary? A bioluminescent setting, in some sort of glowing creature, with maybe some light a viewer does not often see (suggesting ultra violet or infra red?). Hmmmmmm... A brightly lit place where a viewer can see everything clearly, then notices something is very, very wrong and out of place? That sounds really tough to pull off. If I was anything besides a dirty-old-man-talentless-hack I'd give it a shot.
Keep up the great work, and I do hope you still enjoy yourself as you create!

You know what, everything you say makes complete and utter sense. I lost my way a tad when working on this, and every time I revisit it I think uhm it looks more comical today. Initially I was working on an intruder image...which I finished in another piece. I have always got the back-up of saying to myself, well it's sci-fi and you can get away with murder because anything's possible!
I wondered about making things darker, serious and grotesque, so I guess I could give it a whirl, see how it goes. I'm intrigued by your bioluminescent setting idea, I'd actually forgotten I'd tried it years ago in Bryce (pre 2010).
Oh you've only gone and done it now...I'm off on a mission, just don't hold your breath. :-)
Anyway many thanks for your in depth comments, they are much appreciated.

:-) I'm glad I said something useful. That does not happen a lot, so its cause to celebrate! Just do not get lost in front of the pc working on stuff. Fresh air, sunshine, all that, is supposed to be good for you. I'm no longer convinced of that, but there might still be something to it. Be safe, and thanks for creating!
