River gone wild! But that explains the strange structure in one of Your last Images: bank reinforcements. That River must be a real bad Boy, sometimes! :)

That's what I thought, but wasn't sure because it was almost perpendicular to the river. Yeah, the river can get a little wild with the spring run off :)
